WHERE WE BEGAN

Just like many small businesses, Hello Blooms came from humble beginnings back in 2015, working out of a spare room in St Kilda, running solely on an idea and a passion to bring it to life.

Founder Lauren left her job in the corporate world to figure out what was next, and she found it! We sometimes pinch ourselves, now running a studio space in Northcote with a dedicated amazing team and we get to live our passion and grow it everyday.

And now... we couldn't do any of it without our awesome team - no day is ever the same. If it's not a Beyonce singalong, it's another crime podcast story, another "did you see that show on Netflix?", another new pup coming in to visit (and everyone stops working). They're the perfect blend of early risers, animal lovers, creative minds, plant enthusiasts and passionate people.

     
FRESH BLOOMS AND CUTE PLANTS ARE OUR THING!

One daily arrangement is the core of our business but we are much more than that. We think there is a better way to do flowers! We focus on minimal to no waste, we make every arrangement ourselves and we work with local suppliers to bring you the best and freshest flowers that are easy, affordable and accessible to everyone. Flowers shouldn't just be for special occasions, they should be for all of those simple thank you's - thank you for babysitting, for letting me borrow your car, for walking my dog, or for just being awesome.

What's our numero uno focus...? You guys! We pride ourselves on providing top notch customer service and our focus is on continuously improving, bringing you new things, listening to your feedback, and getting you as excited about what we do as we are.

MEET THE TEAM 

Little Lauren AKA LJ 

Dashing in her marketing skills and guilty of   not wearing her retainer (ignore the pic) we   bring you Lauren - aka Little Lauren aka   Susie.  With 33% of her personality being   humour, the remaining 67% is made up of   Acai. She is creative, imaginative and very intuitive, almost psychic- you’d think she is a Pisces. Yeah, well, she is. She brings in her delicious lunches & gets yelled at by boss Lauren for not sharing. Are we shocked? Absolutely not. We love our in-house baker and are extremely grateful for her Biscoff cheesecake.

Shannon

If you look up the term ‘cool, calm and collected’ you’ll see a picture of Shannon right next to it! Shannon is the awesome leader of the HB dream team and makes sure all the t’s are crossed and all the I’s are dotted (and the fridge is neat and tidy!). Despite her cool-as-a-cucumber demeanour, it may come as a shock that she is a die-hard Collingwood supporter (peep the magpie tattoo for proof). She also loooooooves to yap about the last crime podcast she’s listening to (like should we be worried or….)

Nathalie 

Where do we even start with our sweet French lamb Nat – every word that comes out of her mouth just sounds so poetic we could listen to her talk all day!

We feel like better people when are in Nat’s presence – her creative energy when she’s on the tools is like poetry in motion (we’ve been known to pull up a chair and just watch her work). Always showing off her cool AF designs, we can always count on Nat to bring life to anything that we throw at her.

Not to stereotype either but her crepes are to DIE for!

Samantha 

 The latest addition to the HB fam we bring you Stamatia - aka Samantha, aka Boss Lauren’s newest annoying little sister. If she’s not on our live chat answering all your burning questions, she’s running around prepping your orders – with a quick dance break and a tear in her eye from laughing too much. A certified yapper through and through, she brings good juju and good juju‘s deli sandwiches to HB HQ with her every day. She also has the amazing ability to pull the most random and insane ‘would you rather’ questions out of thin air (but the inability to answer them herself!)

Lauren aka Hot Boss Lauren 

She’s hot, she’s feisty and has the biggest spot in her heart for animals, we bring you the hottest boss in all of Melbourne. Lauren is the backbone of HB – she is the one who started HB after all so checks out!  She has a big fat crush on Harry Styles, her alter ego is Michael Scott and has a strong obsession with looking at everyone’s lunches. She may or may not have ‘THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID’ tattooed on her thigh.
